With the increase of technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has taken over the world and the Pakistan cricket team’s captain Babar Azam, who is known for doing his magic with the bat, became a victim of it.
In the past few days, many AI-generated videos including Azam’s voice have been circulating on social media.
Azam held a press conference on Tuesday as the Green Shirts prepare to depart for India to participate in the World Cup. He was asked the same question about how his voice has been used in many cricket-related clips.
“You must have listened to the songs — made by AI — that have been circulating on social media these days, your fans enjoy them, will you ever sing a song for them in your voice,” Babar was asked.
“They have already used my voice in all sorts of ways. For a moment, I was worried, and I was like, how did they get my voice?" Babar said.

It must be noted that Pakistan were issued visas — after a much delay — on Monday to participate in the mega event.
The development came after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recorded their protest to the International Cricket Council (ICC) over the delay in Indian visas.
Due to a delay in visas, PCB had to delay their pre-World Cup team bonding trip to Dubai.
The Men in Green will start their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6 while they will also face Sri Lanka on October 10 at the same venue.
